Visiting our maize maze is a summer day out! Whether you’re 5 or 55, our maize maze offers a challenging and fun day out. A trip to Silly Moos maize Maze is more than just a ‘walk in the stalks’. There’s so much to do, you may forget you’re lost!

Our maze features a new theme every year where you may have to seek out clues, complete a challenge, find all the picture rubbings, decode the secret word, or other fun activities.

We typically open in July each year once the maize plants have started to grow. Farmer Brian uses GPS satellite imagery to plot out the route and he cuts the paths with his mower.

Each year we have a unique design. Even if you have visited a maize maze elsewhere in the UK you can easily challenge yourself to visit two or more maize mazes in a year.

Take a look in our gallery for some aerial photos of previous years’ designs.

By September the short maize maze season is coming to a close and the maize plants harvested for animal feed.

maize maze family attraction @ We give you a ‘Cheat map’ you can use if you get lost. It contains the route out of the maze, and mobile phone numbers in case you need any help.

The Mini Maze

The mini maze takes about 30 minutes and is aimed at younger children. Each year we set up a gameĀ  in the mini-maze that you can complete as you go round.
